Valencia coach Unai Emery has held showdown talks with want-away goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand.

Emery spent half-an-hour with the German at the club’s gym yesterday as Marca reported that the goalkeeper planned to sit out training for the coming months leading up to the January market.

Emery and goalkeeping coach Jose Manuel Ochotorena are upset with Hildebrand’s attitude and have made it clear that he must fulfil his commitments in training until the winter market opens.
